Entitlements:
Each license adds to the total number of users that are aloud to simultaneously access the software. Software may be installed on any number of computers. Licenses are checked out from a central server when the user opens the application. Licenses are checked in when a user closes the software. If too many users try to checkout the software at a time, the last user is prohibited until another user closes the software.
Implementation:
Instead of licenses being installed on each PC or VM, licenses are installed on a central server. This server can be any computer or virtual machine. It doesn't require much RAM or compute. Once the server is setup, clients are easy to setup and get working. Server software is free and easy to setup. Guidance is available. Contact us with questions.
