The version of the Crystal Reports runtime that is installed on your system is not the version that shipped with TRV. The version you have installed is missing the required function.

Solution One
Reinstall TRV with the proper version of the Crystal Reports runtime. This will make sure that the correct function exist.

Solution Two
Install a modern MSIX or MSIXBUNDLE version of The Report Viewer. Since the Crystal runtime is now bundled and sandboxed inside the application package, you will not run into these types of errors,

The provider of the Crystal runtime removed or renamed a required function without updating their DLLs version number. So, The Report Viewer believes that it is using a supported version of the Crystal runtime, but it crashes when it tries to call this function.
