Choosing a Version

There are currently two major versions of the software.

The Report Viewer Pro, is built using the the Windows Presentation Framework and features a ribbon toolbar and a user interface that fits nicely with Windows 7. It features the Crystal Reports 2011 rendering engine.

The Report Viewer 3, 4, and 5 is built using WinForms technology. It is available with the Crystal Reports 2011, Crystal Reports 2008, and Crystal Reports XI rendering engine. This software feels at home on Windows XP.

Legacy Versions

The legacy versions of the software include almost all same features as the current release. The main difference is the report-rendering engine. These versions may be needed if you require legacy database support.
